Imprints II
I have always taken a keen interest in imprints, both as a result of human presence and its impact as well as an element of searching the identity of a region and its inhabitants.
Buildings, constructions and implements that with the passage of time and their abandonment have acquired the prestige and the aspect of a monument, they eventually become fundamental components of identity. During this in-depth exploration, I became more and more interested in my place of origin, Etoloakarnania, and in searching for imprints and different characters of a rapidly changing area. These alterations make the photographed subject-monument very soon to be outdated; however they constitute an essential factor in shaping the identity of a place.
