KONSTANTINOS MERENDITIS

The photos have been taken, during a 12 years period. They ‘’talk’’ about places I lived in in Thessalian plain, places I visited and places I saw passing in front of my eyes, offering me the chance to absorb their beauty. They are almost always around my family or people close to me – people who have learned to transform themselves and change occupations, according to the needs, the circumstances and the seasons.

Different analog cameras helped me from time to time capture these moments by offering me the chance to create my own visual narrative. Family, friends, nature, fire, rivers, mountains, rituals, all of them surrounded by the Thessalian plain, are the ones to be honored.
